Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time PSYCHIATRIC REGISTERED NURSE for our HANNIBAL, MISSOURI - FORREST DRIVE location.  This full-time salaried position in an outpatient clinical setting offers competitive pay and full benefits.  Consider joining our MTBH Team!  We offer a supportive culture of appreciation and a strong emphasis on the health and well-being of our team.

The Psychiatric Registered Nurse provides clinical nursing services under the supervision and direction of the Medical Director and the Clinical Nurse Manager or Psychiatric Registered Nurse Supervisor. This position is for a week day schedule

Role Responsibilities

1.  Triage for level of care
2.  Conduct brief medical screens
3.  Provide nursing services within scope of practice and per direction of medical providers
4.  Establish and maintain a professional and positive relationship with the medical providers and community stakeholders
5.  Complete appropriate clinical data in a timely manner such as documentation in the electronic health record
6.  Contribute to the development of the person-centered plan
7.  Monitor and log all medication passes to comply with DMH standards
8.  Attend staff meetings with clinical staff and medical providers
9.  Provide care and oversight of clients in collaboration with other team members
10.  Educate clients regarding their illness and their medications
11.  Provide crisis intervention services as needed
12.  Serve as a liaison for MTBH clients to their medical provider
13.  Coordinate disease management services and program
14.  Provide excellent customer service

Adherence to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies is required.

Qualifications

•  Current Missouri Registered Nurse license (RN)
•  Two years behavioral health experience recommended
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Knowledge of drug and alcohol and mental health disorders
