The Community Behavioral Health Liaison's (CBHL) role in the community is to form better partnerships with crisis systems, law enforcement agencies, and the courts to best utilize existing resources and improve access to behavioral health services and supports.
The Youth Behavioral Health Liaison's (YBHL) role in the community is to coordinate services with local systems of care for children and youth with behavioral health needs. Referral sources include, but are not limited to schools, the juvenile offices, children's division, law enforcement, courts, and hospitals. The YBHL is proactively seeking, finding and interacting with individuals at high risk who may not already be involved in services or supports.
